Title with Solid Background Color

2025 Challenge:
Crayon Challenge 


Challenge Objective: 
Find locations that have a color in their name. Examples - White Plains, NY / Amarillo, TX / Whitehorse Canada / Blue Ridge Parkway / Black Hills, SD. Colors in other languages are acceptable - ie. Baton Rouge (Rouge is red in French)

Take photos of you, your motorcycle and the 2025 Crayon Challenge Tag sheet* in as many locations with a color in their name as possible from March 1st through October 31st.

This is both a riding challenge and a contest.
Earn the patch with a minimum of 10 points.
A 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize will be awarded.
3 prizes for best location/most unusual photo.

* a 2025 Shootin’ the Breeze cover may be used

Your motorcycle must appear in each photo


The 2025 Crayon Challenge Tag or a 2025 STB cover must appear in each photo

An “official sign” must be in each photo. An official sign is defined as:
•    A sign posted by a government body (road sign, route sign,
town sign, etc.)that is physically located within the boundary
of the place it identifies. Mileage markers and directional
signs to a location do not qualify.
• A building with the name of the city, village, town, county,
state, province, or territory where it is located on it such as a
post office, city hall, school, police station, library, fire
station, etc.

You (the entrant) must be in at least five (5) of the photos

Submissions must be emailed or postmarked by November 15, 2025.

Note: Images must be clear and elements must be legible in submitted prints.
Photos that are blurred, fuzzy, illegible, or unrecognizable will not receive points.
NO GROUP PHOTOS – one person/tag sheet per photo
