I was introduced to WITW in 2005, after having a motorcycle license since 2001, yet not knowing any other female riders.
I became a full member of the organization in 2006, and I have grown as a rider and loved being a part of WITW since my first meeting.
I have been a Road Captain, Secretary, VP, and now President of the WITW Hudson Valley Hoydens Chapter.
I had a great life changing experience in the summer of 2016. I sold a house that I had owned for 12.5 years and I quit my job as a Project Manager in NYC, to take my bike cross country.
My first thoughts were that I would travel for a month or so, which in reality became 3 months.
It was one of the best things I ever did for my mind and soul.
Never let someone tell you that you can't achieve something. I just did it!
I was chosen to be 'Sister of the year' in 2016 and I couldn't be more honored, It was a great surprise during the Ft. Meyers, FL event to accept this amazing recognition from the organization.
Things continued to get better when it was announced in CO, that I am the new Editor of the STB, and here we are.
I look forward to working with the Board, and becoming even more involved with the many women that make up this awesome group.
